Loose Content take no prisoners with their latest EP Forth & Back which was released in May 2026 to coincide with their first ever UK shows and a week of 5-star gigs at The Great Escape festival. The EP is a raucous 5-track offering that bites, punches, and has the guts to say something honest in an era of uncertainty. Loose Content are a band who firmly believe in using the art of rock and roll to challenge perceptions. The EP artwork (as with the previous singles) features an original painting by band members MiLLa and Aquila. In honour of the release, the band undertook a six-show east coast headline tour, as well as proudly performing their first ever UK shows where a 4.5/5 review likened the band to “somewhere Radiohead meets Manic Street Preachers and The Specials”.
Produced by Dan Luscombe (Courtney Barnett, Amyl & The Sniffers) at Soundpark Studios, Forth & Back is as riotous as it is meditative. Any moments of quiet contemplation are cracked wide open with a driving rhythm section, angsty guitars and poetic-political prose such as with the feature track ‘No One Left To Call’. As a special treat the limited-edition vinyl and CD versions of the EP include a bonus cover of The Saints 1976 classic ‘(I’m) Stranded’ – a nod to inspiration for the melodic punk sound Loose Content are carrying forward.
