Krystal Rivvers — is an indie/alternative rock outfit led by Wurundjeri/ Boon Wurrung singer / songwriter Earl Weir based on Gadigal and Bidjigal land (Sydney). Known for his magnetic stage presence and emotionally-charged songwriting, Earl leads the band with a sound that bridges psych-rock, soul, and poetic grit.
Krystal Rivvers have played iconic stages including the main stage at Lost Paradise NYE 2024, Great Escape Festival 2025, Party in the Paddock 2026, Yabun, toured Bali, and embarked on two East Coast tours across 2024/25 and 25/26 Highlights include sold out shows at Bootleggers, Newtown and Old Bar, Fitzroy as well as multiple headline shows at The Northern Hotel (Byron), Oxford Art Factory, The Lansdowne Hotel, and The Woolshed (Geelong) — cementing the band as one to watch in the Australian alt-rock scene, with radio play on TRIPLE M, TRIPLE J and the #1 AMRAP metro chart song.
Following the recent release of their debut EP via Impressed Records, the band are now working on their first full-length album, slated for release in 26/27 The project sees Earl collaborating with a stellar lineup of artists and producers including Jack Moffitt (The Preatures), Michael Tramonte (The Delta Riggs), Freddie Crabs and Beaker Best (Sticky Fingers), Reyne House and Izaac Wilson.
The band has also been recognised for its recent achievements with a nomination for NSW Music prize Breakthrough Artist of the year 2025. In recognition of his artistic vision and contribution to music, Weir was awarded the First Nations Creative and Professional Development Grant from Sound NSW, supporting the evolution of his work both on and off stage.
