Local DJ kowojay is known to bring unmatched energy to the decks, playing a diverse range of genres including UK funky, hardgroove, hard trance, garage, and 140 dubstep. Known for her dynamic mixing style and constant dancing, she creates a vibe that gives everyone a little something-something.
A guitarist and singer in her youth, raised on ABBA and classical Latin, kowojay developed a love for electronic music with multicultural influences. Whether she’s playing a club, a rave, a boat party or your living room, kowojay’s sets are a celebration of the diverse artists she has been shaped by over her years as both a musician and a DJ.
Over the past two years, kowojay has become a staple in the Wollongong music scene, delivering sets that showcase a range of sounds and genres, as well as launching her own local parties and events. She’s had the honour of supporting incredible artists like Hannah Laing, Ollie Lishman, STÜM, Daniel Avery, Thelma, and What So Not – just to name a few – cementing her as a versatile and passionate presence in the industry.
