Sydney’s very own hard-biting rockers; C.O.F.F.I.N are a four piece, full force, boogie rock ‘n’ roll band featuring snarling lead vocals from behind the drum kit, high voltage lead guitars, and steady rhythms that keep you stomping along. Forming in 2005 as schoolmates, the band was influenced by a huge love for music, skateboarding and a good-times-all-the-time attitude. From humble beginnings playing their first show at the age of 12, opening for The Hard-Ons at Manly Youth Centre, the band have meticulously carved out their own corner of Australian Rock n Roll.
C.O.F.F.I.N have gained a passionate following for their unique take on punk and rock music, gathering widespread acclaim for their energetic and addictive live shows, combined with their lyrical activism and howling guitars. Over the years, the band has clocked hundreds of gigs, headline tours, and numerous festival appearances the world over. They’ve toured and shared the stage with bands such as Rose Tattoo, TSOL, Celibate Rifles, Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Amyl and the Sniffers and The Hard-Ons to name a few.
C.O.F.F.I.N have recorded and released five studio albums, one live album, and three EPs, all of which have sold out globally. Their most recent LP entitled ‘Australia Stops’, was released through Goner Records (US), Bad Vibrations (UK) and Damaged Record Co. (AU) in September 2023 and saw the band stand to higher global recognition and acclaim. Their unique blend of a hip-shaking and boogie, yet chaotic and punk live show, landed the band invites to festivals such as Meredith Music Festival (AU), The Great Escape (UK) and Gonerfest (US) amongst others.
