1tbsp is the left-field dance project from Australian producer Maxwell Byrne, a mileage of contemporary and eclectic sounds, accumulated by friends and influences across the world; synth-pop, tech-house, reggaeton and more. His productions span collaborations with front-running EDM artist Ninajirachi to the raw techno-punk of LA based Soltera and Sonido Sex.
Occupying an expansive practice, Maxwell is a Grammy Award Nominee, recognised for his contributions as a songwriter/producer for his early indie project; Golden Vessel. He also releases films and music through his independent production company dottidot. His debut short Sandtrap was presented at Bolton Film Festival in 2025.
Maxwell has toured the globe extensively, with sold out shows across Australia, New Zealand, North and South America, The UK, and Europe, alongside standout performances at Coachella, AVA Festival, Electric Forest, Let Them Eat Cake, Mode, Listen Out, Freeform, Overtone, Laneway Festival, Gop Tun, Forbidden Fruit, CRSSD, Shambhala, and Portola Festival among others.
