Created by high school friends Josh Williams and Stephen Sacco, Crocodylus are a Sydney-based Garage Punk quintet who expound their brand of frenetic but intricate music that draws heavily on their personal and instrumental dynamics, leading to their sweaty and exhilarating live shows which have won over audiences from backyards in their hometown on Sydney’s Northern Beaches to stages all over Europe and UK.
After a slew of EP’s with third member Mikel Salvador Jara on drums, they further cemented a place in Sydney’s rock scene, their early efforts culminated in “Enjoy!” Which was released on Queensland-punks The Chat’s Bargain Bin Records. This release, followed by extensive headline shows as well as high profile support slots. Saw the group garner a loyal following selling out venue after venue.
The group took the idleness of the pandemic to focus on delivering their debut LP “Muscle Memory” The larger scope of the record as well as the musical evolution of the three friends, precipitated the expansion of the lineup to include; former housemate and friend Nick Meadows on keys, percussion, and Saxophone as well as long time producer Jake Voroshine on bass guitar. With the new lineup solidified the group are now ready to move onto their next era. The new singles ‘Cup of Tea’ and ‘Bad Reception’ are the first steps in their new explorations, which will ultimately culminate in a second LP.
