Kitten heel began as an audio deluge for two uni acquaintances Jareth Leslie-Evans and Jourdain Vitiello. For three years, the pair were caught between influences – producing material in their homemade studio. In 2019 they surfaced with a sound that borrows from New wave, leaning on the percussive and electronic quirk.
Now fixed as a six-piece, the Kitten Heel live collective is an intentional bout into what makes the Wollongong duo tick. With synths, guitars, drums, a computer and a questionable affection for the cowbell, Kitten Heel considers the alternative through a unique electronic lens.
