Drift are a 4 piece Wollongong based alternative/shoegaze band consisting of Callum Mccombie (Lead vocals/Guitar), Nelson Thurgate (Backing Vocals/ Lead Guitar), Marley Mondzheyovsky (Bass), Ruben Dragone (Percussion). The band formed in October 2020 amidst the pandemic crisis, and are an independent and self-managed project aimed at creating easy listening material intertwined with emotional soundscapes. Reaching out to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney was an unfamiliar but amazing experience for Drift.
