Chloe Dadd is a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Ulladulla NSW. Her modern and assured version of dream-pop combines hooky Albert Hammond Jnr like guitars with powerful vocals that would give Danielle Haim goosebumps, all sitting upon a pulsating rhythm section ready to light up dance floors everywhere. Now Sydney based, Chloe has been cultivating an empowering live show with her band to share music that makes you feel things. More recently, she has supported the likes of Hockey Dad, Bec Sandridge, and Annie Hamilton as well as playing BIGSOUND 2022.
By day, Chloe can be found in her home studio or surrounded by analogue gear at Golden Retriever Studio’s in Marrickville, recording a wide variety of bands, producing and writing for artists, as well as mixing. Her latest credits include Courtney Barnett, Andy Golledge, Before The King, and more. If not playing in her own band, Chloe can also be spotted bouncing around on stage playing lead guitar for artist May-a. Her new track ’Now Now’ was recorded out of her bedroom studio, with Chloe producing and playing every instrument. She explores a romantic obsession in a mesh of blooming synths, nostalgic guitar and head bopping beats. Taking influence from Jimi Hendrix’s wild guitar licks coupled with Stevie Nicks’ poetic charm, it’s hard to resist being lured in by her radiant presence. Translating her recorded song’s energy into an electric charged band set, Chloe is stepping out to the front to show her performing and songwriting talents.
